    Taking Leadership Of My Life
    “New Men In Christ”

          As men, we are called and wired to lead…
    (1 Corinthians 11:3, Ephesians 5:23, 6:4, Colossians 3:19, 3:21)


But it is increasingly difficult for men to lead…

So we must learn to take leadership of our lives


    1) We must take leadership of our spiritual __GROWTH__.
     "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who
     does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."
                                                                                                                       (2 Timothy 2:15, NIV)

    *Why?  You can’t ever give what you don’t have.


    2) We must take leadership of our significant _RELATIONSHIPS_.
     "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks
      closer than a brother."                                                                          (Proverbs 18:24, NIV)

*Why?  Relationships last forever.


    3) We must take leadership of our schedule __OF EVENTS__.
     "My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and those who pursue
      me."                                                                                                         (Psalm 31:15, NIV)

*Why?  Leaders aren’t driven by circumstances, they drive them.


    4) We must take leadership of our serving __OF GOD__.
     "And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.  For even the Son of Man did
  not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many"
                                                                                                                        (Mark 10:44-45, NIV)

*Why?  Serving is the path to great leadership.


*You can’t lead others until you first ___LEAD YOURSELF!___
