    Wow... What a powerful meeting we had today, with about 35 men in attendance.  This recount captures some
    of points mentioned, but does not carry the emotion, private sentiments and needs that are confidentially
    shared during the meeting that we can all relate to and pray about.

    Pastor Vince gave an inspiring devotional titled "If You Want To Lead Your Family As A Godly Man..." with a
    scriptural reference to Psalm 128:1-3.  Here are some points I noted.

    Men are not portrayed as Godly leaders (on TV). What are you doing to lead a Godly home?  Pastor Vince's

    As men, we must grow:
    upward (vertically)
    horizontally
    downward

    1. Be a growing Godly man (vertical).
    Have a daily quiet time with God, reading the word of God.
    How are your Christian disciplines?
    See 1 Corinthians 11:1-2.

    2. Be a caring decisive leader of your wife (horizontal).
    Guard theology for you family.
    Your wife should be your most cherished possession.
    Set a goal to daily praise your wife.
    See 1 Corinthians 11:3.

    3. Be an involved model for your kids (downward).
    See Psalm 128:3b and Psalm 127.
