- During the devotional today we watched the video titled "Scars That Heal - The True Life Story of
Dave Roever" and I unveiled a word I made up called "situationalism". Our situations are what
happened to us in the past (emotionally or physically). We need to understand and accept our past
and recognize that God loves us unconditionally and forgives us when we ask. We then need to
use our situations to glorify God and reach others in similar situations. The combination of all of
this is what I call situationalism. We also read Ecclesiastes Chapter 9.
